Hi,
I would like to include a member zone where staff can log in order to download
files and enter working hours in a calendar/shift plan.What plugins (for login and rewritable calendars) can you recommend?

The bBpress plugin is compatible with the Enfold theme. Maybe, you can modify it to work as a membership panel. Try these plugins:
