Enfold and WooCommerce – basic question

Hi – I’m about to set up WooCommerce on my website at http://www.DominiqueHurley.com for my original paintings and intuitive services. Also for downloadable guided meditations. I’ve gone through all the WooCommerce documentation videos – a bit overwhelming, but so was building my website. I’m learning.I’ve got it activated and some of the settings done, but not all.

I see that many are having trouble with WooCommerce since the Enfold and WooCommerce updates and I’ve read a few blog posts out there saying it’s best to have a woo theme for wooCommerce to avoid such things with every update. My question is – since I have an Enfold website (and want to keep it – love the support I get here), do I have to use the Enfold way into WooCommerce? As in, once in Enfold, do I have a choice of how my shop will look (woo theme for shop inside Enfold site)?

I don’t think I’m expressing that clearly – I’ve been looking for how to design my shop and can’t find good visuals / examples on Enfold demo or wooCommerce. Do I have choices? Or since I’m in Enfold my choices are made for me – to use the Enfold way and that’s my only choice. I’m not a techy so I have concerns of the shop not working with updates, but also I’m looking for the best way to highlight my paintings, which are of all shapes and sizes, so the square grids don’t work well for me.
