    Hi,

    I am creating an online shop for a customer and would love to use Enfold. Your Default Demo Shop format would work well with the addition of a header with slider or static image.
    I have imported the Enfold Shop Demo and the Woo commerce plugin. After watching your video I realise that Woo Commerce should have given me the option to install pages. This did not happen, so I have deleted all pages and started the installation process again.
    Woo commerce still does not prompt me to install pages. Am I missing something? Does it matter which order the Plugin and demo are installed in?

    Best Wishes,

    Fiona

    Hi Fionadee!

    You can go to WooCommerce > System Status > Tools and click “Install WooCommerce Pages” and then go to WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout and make sure that correct pages are set under “Checkout Pages”

    Thank you, I didn’t spot it there!
    If I want to use the imported Enfold Demo Shop as a a basis for my site, do I install the Woo Commerce pages first, then the Enfold demo?

    Hey!

    Order actually does not really matter, however you want :)

    Cheers!

    Ok that’s great!
    What about adding a slider to the header of the demo theme – is that a problem? I’m not quite clear exactly what the situation is with Avia layout builder. ( I have read http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/custom-woocommerce-shop-overview/ ).
    Just thinking ahead here so I don’t paint my self into a corner!

    Thanks for the swift response!

    Hi!

    To the header? You can set the header style to transparent when you edit your page and then drag the fullscreen or fullwidth easy slider to your page content and it will display at the top. You cannot really add one inside the header though.

    Best regards,
    Elliott

    Yes, I see what you mean, I meant below the header!
    Is your WooCommerce Custom Query still in beta version?

    #506572

    Hey!

    Not sure what your referring to by “woocommerce custom query”. Take a screenshot and highlight what is going on so we can get a better idea.

    Sorry my question wasn’t very clear. I was referring to this advice from January on your website http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/custom-woocommerce-shop-overview/ :
    ” The more “complicated” option is to activate a beta feature of ours, that disables the WooCommerce Custom Query.
    If thats the way you want to go, you will need to add the following snippet to either your themes or child themes function.php file:

    add_theme_support( 'avia_custom_shop_page' );

    This will enable the Layout Builder for the default Shop page but also remove the default WooCommerce Products that would usually be displayed on that page. You then have to add them with a template builder element, just as in solution #1

    Please keep in mind that solution #2 is a Beta feature and is still tested.”

    Does this advice still apply?
    Thanks for your patience, this is the first time I’ve used Woo Commerce…

    Hey!

    yes, it is still a beta feature. I hope it will work for you.

    Cheers!

    I have a problem with downloadable products.

    When customers purchases a product it does not show up as a link.

    I have uploadet a pdf-file at the product-settings-page.

    I looked at the System Status for Woocommerce, and under Database it said:

    woocommerce_downloadable_products_permissions table does not exist.

    Is there a connection between the two? And how do I fix it?

    #506974

    OK thank you Andy! I’ll get started.
    I can’t find a “Template builder element” reffered to in your documentation http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/custom-woocommerce-shop-overview/
    is it the “Advanced layout editor”?

    Hey!

    @Fionadee
    , Yes, it’s the layout builder. Click on the “Plugin Additions” tab to find the product related elements.

    @katrinesskattejagter
    , I’m not sure about that. Does it do the same in the default theme? I would try contacting Woocommerce support to see if they have any idea.

    Best regards,
