    Dear guys,
    Thank you in advance for your kind help.
    I’ve installed Enfold 5.0 and i’ve created an Enfold Child Theme.
    It’s not possible to change anything on footer widget area.
    I can set the column number on footer, but If I put any information on “Copyright input text”, nothing appears on web site.
    If I edit the widget area (for example I put a Facebook likebox on first column), nothing change on public website.
    Thank you for your help.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    The widgets and the copyright info seem to be displaying correctly on the front end. Please make sure to purge the cache before checking the page, or use the incognito mode.

    Unfortunately i cleared all cache data, but there seems to be the same problem.
    I attach a screenshot of the home page footer (after delete data cache)

    Now I set 3 columns

    1) Contacts
    2) Free Text
    3) Social box

    But online I see 3 columns with other contents.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. The socket is displaying as it should when the parent theme is active, so there’s likely something wrong in footer.php which you are overriding in the child theme. Please try to copy footer.php from the parent theme into your child, then add your customisations back in after that.
