August 27, 2021 at 5:05 am #1318554Hi karmenka,
I just tested Enfold 4.8.6.2 and WP 5.8 and password protect is still working on posts.
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

August 30, 2021 at 6:24 am #1318911Hi karmenka,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
I tried to check it and it behaves as you have described it however when I try to reproduce it on my local server, it does work properly.
Can you try to switch to the parent theme (Enfold) and see if the same issue still appears?
Here’s also a thread that might be helpful: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/66756880/wordpress-password-protected-page-white-page-after-loginBest regards,

August 31, 2021 at 2:21 pm #1319146Hi karmenka,
Can you setup a staging site for us? so we can try to debug it on your site without affecting your live site and disrupting any of your visitors.
Here’s a simple tutorial you can follow: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-staging-site/Best regards,
