I have about 6 client sites to update, held off hoping this would get a better fix but it did not,

I am trying to update a dev site for testing and get the “this link has time out” error repeatedly with the zip plugin and theme upload method. I used a private window in FireFox to try.

As far as Enfold, I only have some CSS customizations in the enfold theme custom css panel and in custom.css which I have copied.

If I uninstall the theme and reinstall will that get around the link timeout issue? I am not sure if it will.

If I delete it and install by FTP will I lose all my page setups etc. or will they be kept in the database even with removing the theme? This is an e-commerce site so a lot of setup to replicate. To make matters worse, someone on my team during dev accidentally built it out on the main theme vs. the child theme.

    Thanks,

    Mike

p.s. I am putting in a login for you to the dev site. I do need to know the process though so I can replicate to other sites and eventually to production.

Still having same issues, download link expired after using other plugins to update as zip and using private browser windows.

    Hi,

If you delete the folder and you re-upload it you will not loose anything. Just make sure that you do not delete your database ;-)

    Best regards,
