On my own website, I got Enfold 4.5.4 running, but on another site I’m working on, the 4.5.4 update doesn’t show up, even when I press ‘Check Manually’ in the Enfold Theme Update tab. It says that the latest version is running. The token is validated, so that’s not the problem and it must’ve updated correctly before to 4.5.3.
Any ideas?

March 5, 2019 at 9:30 am #1074736Hi Mark,
Thanks for that, I get the same result on my end. It might be that the connection from Envato is being blocked. What happens if you deactivate your security plugins and/or caching plugin for instance?

I tried deactivating caching plugins and Wordfence, but still no update appearing for Enfold.
Any other ideas?Mark
March 6, 2019 at 9:09 am #1075400Hi Mark,
I’m not sure, it’s working for the vast majority of our customers so it’s likely something local to your site and/or server. Could you try contacting your hosting provider to see if they are blocking traffic from Envato.com maybe? It would likely be a cron-job which is being blocked.

Ok, I just mailed them about this. We’ll see what they come up with.Best regards,

RikardMarch 7, 2019 at 3:14 pm #1076005My site will not update to 4.5.4. I have downloaded the file multiple times but still keep getting the same failed installation message. I have tried both through WordPress and through my host with the same results.
March 7, 2019 at 3:16 pm #1076007The update process is starting. This process may take a while on some hosts, so please be patient.

RikardMarch 11, 2019 at 5:07 pm #1077423Got a response from my webhoster and they are not aware of any blocking of traffic to or from Envato.com.
So I manually updated the theme via ftp and now we have the latest versoin of Enfold at least. Hopefully the update procedure from within WordPress works again with future Enfold updates.Mark
March 12, 2019 at 10:52 am #1077776Hi Mark,
Great, I’m glad you got it updated. Did you create a token for the theme at Envato as well? If so then please add it to the backend of the theme. https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

RikardMarch 12, 2019 at 4:43 pm #1077858Hi Rikard,
Yes, I did that already before and the token is still there in WordPress.
