Hi, The Text Block element on our site has no Visual or Text tab so I can’t switch back and forth to edit inline CSS, if needed. Clicking on the save button, or close icon, does nothing. The Text Block editor stays open.. All that can be done is to leave the page and reopen it for editing, but no changes are saved.
I do not believe it is not a caching issue as we host on WP Engine and caching is not available on the staging site.
Our deadline to finish this site is rapidly approaching. We need to get this issue resolved as soon as possible. We are currently on WordPress 4.7.3 and Enfold 4.0.2. Please respond as soon as possible.
Thanks…

March 8, 2017 at 3:00 am #757447FYI – we are on WP Engine, we have moved to staging (where there is no caching) and it is still the same behavior for some of our team…
I’m in the US and on Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 and have tested on Firefox (51.0.1 (64-bit)), Safari (Version 8.0.4 (10600.4.10.7)) & Chrome (Version 56.0.2924.87 (64-bit))…another team member here has tested on his PC (I don’t have his specs) and has the same issue across browsers.
However, I have a team in Portugal, and one of the guys on a PC is not having this issue with the site. The problem is we are almost finished with the site and its due this week, and we need the team working on it…your help is appreciated and needed now more than ever.
PS – also just tested on my iPad and it does not work on Chrome or Safari…

March 8, 2017 at 3:57 am #757454I am in Australia and have been having the same issue since I upgraded to the latest Enfold. I have deleted all caches, disabled all plugins, created new users, reinstalled the theme and nothing has fixed it. I am on a MAC also but have tried on various browsers without any luck.
March 8, 2017 at 8:05 pm #757999OP here….I have another site on WPE, with same version of Enfold and same version of WordPress and using the same computers it does NOT have the issues…I will post the link in private and if you need a login to it pls ask:
March 13, 2017 at 4:11 pm #760057Hi,
Sorry for the late reply!
I just checked oyur your website and it does work fine on my end. I believe it really is a caching issue.
Please flush browser cache and refresh your page a few times – http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Hard_RefreshIf that does not help either, please try logging in with credentials you provided for us and check if that makes any difference
Best regards,
YigitMarch 13, 2017 at 9:48 pm #760269staging on WP Engine should not have caching issues…its purposefully setup to avoid that…
I’ve attached a screenshot of the same post, not only on WPE staging, but with Chrome Incognito…
When I searched on Safari and Firefox, it was the first time those browsers had been to this site…hadn’t even opened those programs in months as I ONLY use Safari & FF for testing…so I don’t believe its caching on the client side…nor do I think its on the server side…
And this appears to be widespread. Plus, we rolled back Enfold on the live site so we could complete the work and once we rolled back everything works fine on live.
We have instructed our team to stop upgrading Enfold until y’all can find a solution.
March 17, 2017 at 12:46 am #762283Hi,
I am sorry, but I`ve accessed your site and the buttons are working normally – see here: http://prntscr.com/ekvwkd

John TorvikMarch 17, 2017 at 8:57 pm #762719ok, so I had not seen the suggestion to login with the kriesi user…I just did that and it works.
Any idea why my user and a couple other users cannot see the ‘Visual’ or ‘Text’ tabs and the kriesi and other accounts can?
It appears it is NOT a browser issue, but an account issue.
Thanks,
KyleMarch 22, 2017 at 8:38 am #764647Hi,
What is the role of the user account where the tabs are not working? Did you install any membership plugin before? Please give us access to the user with the issue.
Best regards,
IsmaelMarch 23, 2017 at 1:10 am #765122the user is an admin. there are no membership plugins.
login is below:
BUT – in the process of writing this and sharing my login I had to change my password. When I went to my profile page to update my password, I tried to save my new password and the page said I had to create a nickname BEFORE I could save my password…
Now that I’ve created a new pwd AND set a nickname, that login is now working :P
I do not know which task solved the problem, but it is good to see that something has helped make this go away for this profile…
I will update some of our other sites and see if we can get some more data and insight into why & when this happens.
March 23, 2017 at 6:53 am #765179Hi,
Log in with the account that the text editor isn`t working and check if this option “Visual Editor” at Users > Your profile: http://prntscr.com/end9ce is disabled.
Best regards,
John Torvik -
