Hi
updated to Enfold 3.5.3 (from 3.5.2) on a wordpress 4.5 site & we had problems Error 500.
Disabled plugins and still problems. Reverted to Enfold 3.5.2 and problems went away.
Tried it a couple of times and same thing happened, So have reverted to 3.5.2 and will wait next update of Enfold. Have a number of sites with Enfold so will just wait a while on them all.
No action necessary for this specific site – although willing to trouble shoot with you if you wish. Just thought you would want to know if people are experiencing difficulties.
regards
John
April 19, 2016 at 3:46 pm #617481Hi John!
Can you please create a testing environment – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/move-from-a-local-installation-to-a-live-server/ and then post WP admin and FTP logins here privately so we can look into it?
It sounds like it is something specific to your installation :)Cheers!

I am so sorry, i tried activating the theme before checking FTP logins and now receiving 500 error and FTP logins are not working “Server said: Authentication failed, sorry”.
Could you please check them once again.

April 20, 2016 at 1:14 pm #618273April 20, 2016 at 2:36 pm #618340Hi Guys,
I too have upgraded my Enfold theme and have struck true problems here.
My admin panel is no longer accessible. I tried to revert WordPress to an earlier setting and re-install the Enfold theme, though no luck.
I have read a tonne of threads to verify php permissions and everything else under the sun but my tech know – how has come to and end.Could I please have some ‘Kriesi Magic’ support help to resolve this issue please?
April 20, 2016 at 3:04 pm #618357Hey!
@mauciello please start a new thread and attach FTP and WP admin logins in private content field so we can look into it.
If you post them here, they will be visible to creator of this thread as well.Regards,
YigitApril 20, 2016 at 3:15 pm #618364Hi Yigit
No worries.
I have another site which I am about to take through the update process. I have created a test copy of it before starting – is there anything you want to do / look at / play with in it before I go ahead or just do it and get back to you if we hit a problem?
Basically the same as the site with the problem – although more data and more plugins etc

YigitApril 20, 2016 at 3:33 pm #618393Hi Yigit
New update has worked without causing error 500 – but images / sliders haven’t worked. I have seen other posts about correcting that problem so I’ll follow those to a conclusion.
