On my pages, I’ve been using a color block to insert a hero image, but on one of the pages, we wanted to have a slider effect, with text sliding in over the hero image. The only way I think I can do that is Advanced Layer Slider. So that’s fine, and I got it set up. However, when I viewed the page, there’s a slight white space between the page title and the slider. Digging around, I see a very slight space in the same spot on all of the other pages, too, but it’s really obvious on the page with the ALS.
I figured out that the offending code is
::after
and it appears right after the close of the H1.Inspecting the element in Chrome says it’s
div.container::after 1100x0The CSS is
.container:after { content: "\0020"; display: block; height: 0; clear: both; visibility: hidden; }I’m not familiar with this and am unclear why, with the height at 0, I’d still have a space.
Here’s a screen shot of the space on the page with ALS.
Here’s a screen shot to one of the regular pages.
Thanks in advance!

#layer_slider_1{ border:none!important; }Best regards,
Jordan ShannonMay 14, 2020 at 9:18 pm #1213055WOW! That;s GREAT! Thank you so much, Jordan.
So it had nothing to do with the code I pasted in my original message, then?
Will your CSS apply to each layer slide I install? For example, the home page has that little white line, too.
May 14, 2020 at 9:26 pm #1213061Hi,
It would depend on the the layerslider id. To cover all bases we can target the class instead:
.avia-layerslider{ border:none!important; }Best regards,
