    Hello,
It appears in the Enfold theme that the page title is automatically used as the meta title in the html head of each page. However, I’m finding that my Home page is resulting in an empty <title></title>. All other pages are fine. Can you help me ensure that a meta title appears for my Home page? URL in private content. Thank you.

    Hey talk19media,

Sorry for the late reply. Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Please find log in credentials in the Private Content area. Also, for context, I did not develop this site. I have taken over it at the client’s request, and I have found a great many things that the previous develop did that don’t make a lot of sense to me. I will not be offended if you report back that user error is causing this issue. In any case, I look forward to your help. Thank you!

    Hi,

You haven’t set a title and tagline on the page in private, that is likely why that tag is empty.

    Best regards,

I’m sorry, I do not understand what you mean by “in private.” If there is a location where I can enter a meta title, I’d gladly do so.

All other pages are using the page title as the meta title. The Home page, which has a title of “Traffic Law DUI Reckless Driving Criminal Lawyer RVA Riley & Wells” is still generating <title></title> in the head.

    Hi,

Go to Setting->General and fill out the Site title and Tagline.

    Best regards,

Setting the Site Title in Settings > General appends the Site Title on every page, making all of the other page meta titles longer than what is recommended for SEO purposes. Is there no way to simply apply a unique meta title to the home page? I have a child theme configured – happy to drop in a code to modify the wp_title(); function if you point me in the right direction. Thank you.

    Hi,

Yes, you can do that with an SEO plugin like Yoast.

    Best regards,
