Today I migrated a site that uses Enfold (latest before 3.0) under WordPress (4.X).
I had to enable permalinks. The funny thing is that There is an empty page where blog grid should be loaded, but it doesn’t.
It shows empty (source code doesn’t even display html tags). So I decided to test the site without permalinks and it fails too.
I’ve tried to make a new page and configured enfold to load blog grid to that page, and nothing seems to happen. All other pages work fine.
PS: Normal Posts can’t be displayed too, even that they appear in posts view (admin view).Any clue?¿

Please try de-activating all active plugins and check if that helps. We may need a temporary admin login to look into it

I checked in Settings > Reading and confirmed WordPress is set to use Blog as the posts page.
I also checked in the Theme Options and confirmed Enfold is set to display the posts on the Blog page.
Finally, I disabled all plugins to no effect.
After that, I switched to WordPress 2014 theme and the blog posts were properly displayed.
Do you have any ideas? Do you need admin access?
Thank you.
November 11, 2014 at 4:11 pm #349445Hey!
I didn’t see anything that could be causing that. Let’s try the following.
1. Make sure all plugins are deactivated while testing.
2. Delete your .htaccess file and then navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and update them. Pay special attention to any messages that WordPress gives you such as .htaccess is not writable, etc etc.
3. Try creating a backup and completely delete the theme before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest.

ElliottMarch 7, 2015 at 2:36 am #407374I’ve been having this issue for a while now. Was there any resolution to this?
Running latest versions of WordPress and Enfold Theme.
I’ve disabled all plugins – no effect
Deleted .htaccess file and reset permalinks … no effect
Backed-up and over-wrote entire theme with fresh copy .. no effect.Any other suggestions?

Please check if the single.php file is correct. What happens when you delete the single-event.php file?

ElliottMay 22, 2015 at 12:50 am #448101We’re very happy with the Enfold theme, but an empty posts page is our one big problem.
The dev blog page is at http://eb5.23b.myftpupload.com/blog/.
Individual blog post pages work perfectly: http://eb5.23b.myftpupload.com/remember-its-still-litigation-plans-of-arrangement-champion-iron-mines-and-canadian-ma-and-reorganizations/.The site is being developed on Media Temple WordPress hosting. We have tried:
- Deactivating all the plugins;
- Deleting the .htaccess file;
- Updating permalinks; and
- Updating the theme.
If it helps, all of the posts on the site are imports from another WordPress site. We have the same problem with newly created posts.
Any other ideas? We’re happy to share login credentials if someone can have a look.
Many thanks in advance for all your help.
Kind Regards,
JeremyMay 22, 2015 at 12:56 am #448105About 30 seconds after I hit submit, I found the problem. We had selected the option to build our own layout, but hadn’t done it. Changing the Blog Style in the Enfold Theme Options fixed the problem.
Thanks again,
