I’ve created a test Playlist & Gallery. When I upload a new video or schedule a video to be published, the new video shows up on the Post hours later.
I made a new video available on my Playlist / Channel at 11:45pm (Tuesday). It’s 6:13pm (Wednesday) and the video is still NOT displayed on my test page (see below).
Is there a setting for when the videos are displayed that I may have overlooked? My goal is to have the video displayed on my website within an hour after it’s available in YouTube? Is this possible?
Note: @guenni007 – since you were so kind to make me aware of this plug-in, I was hoping you might have some suggestions.

Looks like the playlist is still displaying the second latest video in the list. Would you mind if we access the dashboard? We would like to check the plugin settings.

The latest video still doesn’t show up when we directly access the playlist in the browser. Have you tried regenerating the list name or ID? (see private field)

Thank you for your response. I tried accessing the link you provided but it still displayed the older video. I’m not sure I understand what you mean by . . .

As of 9:07am EDT today, the latest video showed up in the Channel but not the Playlist (see link below). Note: the video was made available on YouTube at 11:45pm last night.
UPDATE MAR-25: I made a new video available on YouTube at 12:00am EDT. At 12:30am it’s not showing up under Playlist, but it is showing up under Channel. Strange why both are not displaying the same results on the same timing.
Any other suggestions? Thank you.

Thanks for the link to your page, as I look at your “play list” and your “channel list” shortcodes on your test page I see that they point to two different lists on youtube, and when you look on youtube at the two lists some of the videos are not the same.
So I believe the plugin is pulling the correct videos from youtube. Perhaps I don’t fully understand what you want, but why are you using two different lists on youtube if you want the plugin to show the same videos?
I also note that your plugin is set to check for new videos every half hour:
so you could change to “page load” which would be more often, or since this time is probably using the WordPress cron schedule which is triggered by page visits and could be running behind if you are not getting enough non-admin visits, if this is true try a cron trigger plugin.Best regards,

My goal is to have the latest Daily Word video displayed using the “shortcode” for the Playlist. I’ve tried with the Daily Word Playlist, but the newest video doesn’t show up at the top of the list for several hours. When I use the Channel, the newest video shows up near real-time. The problem with using the Channel is that it will display any new video, but I only want to display real-time the newest Daily Word video each day. This is why I’m trying to get the Daily Word Playlist workin. Does this make sense?
Thank you for your screenshot. As you can see under “Channel List“, the newest Daily Word video is displayed at the top of the list. However, under the Playlist the second newest video is shown at the top of the list vs. the newest video. It will eventually show up, but it takes several hours.
The “Check for New Videos” is for the original plug-in I tried. It doesn’t apply to EmbedPlus that Guenni007 recommended :)
Any ideas on how to get the newest video at the top of the Playlist (like the Channel List)? Please note that for my YouTube Playlist Settings, I have “Add new videos to the top of playlist” enabled.
I’m sorry, but I’m not familiar with the Cron Trigger plug-in. How can this help?

this is a youtube issue, since it’s youtube that is slow to display your uploads, this doesn’t seem to do with the plugin or Enfold.
Try asking youtube creators support.
The Cron Trigger plugin will not help this situation, when I suggested it I thought the plugin was slow to get the updated list from youtube, but now I see it’s youtube slow to update the list.
