Hi all,
I hope u can help me. I am trying to setup my first product using Enfold and Woocommmerce. I am testing it to the point to where you will have to pay for the item. I have noticed that where the customer would have to enter their email address, my email address is prepopulated there. How can this happen and how do I remove it? Is there a setting I must change I have been long for ages?

Thank you for using the theme.
Do you mind if we take a look at the actual page? Please go to Woocommerce > Settings > Email panel then look for the Email Sender Options.

The theme does not prepopulate your email address. I guess a browser extension automatically inserts your email into the email address field. I recommend to use a different browser to test the checkout page. If this doesn’t help try to deactivate all wordpress plugins except WooCommerce and check if the email address is still prepopulated.

Thanks for replying to me this has held me up for 2 days. Woocommerce never responded to my messages. I am going to try what you suggested now. Do you think it has anything to do with the sites paypal account? How long are you on as Moderator today?oriche’
August 29, 2014 at 5:48 am #310784Hey!
I’m not sure about the paypal account but let us know if testing the checkout page on another browser or computer works well. I’m sorry for the delay but we usually respond within 12 hours.

IsmaelAugust 29, 2014 at 10:01 am #310833I did the testing and found the problem was because I was using the admin account and also the page was privet perhaps. I tried it again and there was no data in the fields. When I used the admin account all the data from the previous test was already populated in the checkout fields. Not sure what that was all about though do you?
I am looking to buy woo commerce subscription today for Enfold . I want to use an initial set up fee as a charge for the subscription. But I here that the tags in pay pal come up with “Trial Period” as the charge name for the setup fee but not the subscription. Do you know if this is still a problem? I am in England and I have read in America they have a way of getting around this?

1) No, tbh I never noticed prepopulated WooCommerce checkout fields. All I can say is that the theme just uses the default WooCommerce templates and we don’t add any additional code which might cause this issue.
2) I recommend to ask a pre-sale question here: https://support.woothemes.com/hc/communities/public/topics/200104173-Pre-sales-Questions – probably another user, the plugin author or the WooCommerce support team can answer the question.

PeterAugust 29, 2014 at 1:08 pm #310895Hi Dude,
Thanks for the info. But the woo commerce people have not replied to my messages for days. I am very disappointed considering they say how good this support is. I am going to try subscriptions plugin now. Do you know if there is a phone number or is it just all forum based?September 1, 2014 at 4:20 pm #311904Hi!
No, as far as I know everything is based on their support ticket system provided by zendesk. There’s no “call center” or something similar.
Cheers!
