I have built the following site in Enfold (shared in private area). The site is running WordPress 5.5 and Enfold 4.7.6.2. My customer contacted me to complain that the site was not displaying properly on Microsoft Edge browser on his 2 week old new Surface Pro.

Naturally the first thing I did was to look at the site in Edge on my PC and it displayed perfectly (It looks very bad in IE). I then checked the site on additional (older) PCs in my possession and with a few friends in different GEO locations. Everybody was able to view it correctly on their local machine.

But my customer BEGGED me to check it on a new Surface Pro.

So I drove to the nearest retailer that was selling Surface Pros and visited my client’s site and confirmed what my client was telling me. Certain elements are NOT displaying in brand new surface pros at the store. I am providing you links to the website and screenshots of some examples where elements are missing in the private area below.

Please advise if this is a known issue and how to fix it. Maybe this is related to Chromium??

    Hey mickya1,

We apologize for the delayed response.
I see this error on edge, which also affects the Heading Rotator:

SCRIPT5007: SCRIPT5007: Unable to get property 'define' of undefined or null reference
SCRIPT5007: SCRIPT5007: Unable to get property '0' of undefined or null reference

I tried to login with the credentials you gave but it doesn’t work, please check.
Please try to disable any js minification.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Nikko,

I have updated the credentials in the private area. You must use the email to login, not the username. All of the js minification options I believe are located inside the SG Optimizer plugin. This is a plugin provided by Siteground, a very popular webhosting provider in the USA. see screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/q3Yv5PU8YO

    Hi Jeff,

Thanks, I have disabled Combine JavaScript Files in SG Optimizer which fixed it on Microsoft Edge on my end.
Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Best regards,
    Nikko
