    Hi

    I’ve updated one of our sites to 4.8 and since then the Element preview doesn’t display. (see screenshot below) I have tried turning off any other plug-ins to see if that make a difference but it doesn’t. I have a copy of the site on a development server and have updated that to 4.8.3 but the Element preview still doesn’t appear. Do you know why this would be?

    Hi Rikard

    I’ve given you a login to the copy of the site on our development server as the version which is live needs 2 Factor Authentication. The development site and live site are the same with the same issue with the Element preview.

    Hi Colin,

    Thanks for that. The preview starts working when I activate the parent theme, so the problem is coming from your child. Could you start off with an empty child theme, then add the files back in one by one, to see where the problem is coming from please?

    Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I did what you said and narrowed it down to some css in my child theme styles.css file and it works OK now.
