Has or is anyone had success in using Editus and the Aesop Story Engine with Enfold?
I’m having all sorts of Javascript and CSS issues, but the minute I switch the theme to 2017 all the problems go away.

    Hey perihelionweb,

We didn’t test both plugins with Enfold. Both plugins seem to be complex (front-end editor, multimedia elements, etc.) and I guess they’re not (fully) compatible with Enfold. I’ll leave this thread open – maybe another user can give you some hints.

    Best regards,
    Dude

The developers of Editus wanted me to relay the following question about Enfold as is relates to their Editor.

Normally, calling wp_enqueue_media() will load media-views.js (or media-views.min.js) This works well under every theme except Enfold as far I have experienced. I tried to determine why media-views script is not being loaded under Enfold after calling wp_enqueue_media but still having a problem. I would appreciate if you have any insights on this.

    Hi,

We have asked our developers to look if there is an easy way to help here :)

    Hi,

Enfold calls this function wp_enqueue_media() only in

    – admin_enqueue_scripts when layerslider is active or
    – Enfold option page is loaded

    and does not hack anything.

Try to deactivate all Enfold js and css compressions and all caching plugins – maybe this helps to narrow down the problem.

    Best regards,
    Günter
