I created a site for a client and use WP Migration plugin to move the site over to the existing site. Everything was working fine this morning and then all of a sudden when editing a page, it just loads forever. I viewed the thread and deactivated all plugins. I deleted the theme and child theme and then re-uploaded them. I am including a login information in the private content so you can view and hopefully help.

What version of PHP are you running on your server.

Jordan ShannonAugust 21, 2019 at 5:09 pm #1129638I’ve asked my client to ask his hosting company what PHP version they are using. Do you know what version they should be using?
August 21, 2019 at 5:32 pm #1129652Hi,
As close to 7 as they can possibly get it if it’s not already. You can also try to increase memory limit:

August 21, 2019 at 6:27 pm #1129688Hi,
Did you try to increase the memory limit as I mentioned above?

Have you looked in the wp-config.php file? The instructions are in the link I pasted above.

Jordan ShannonAugust 21, 2019 at 10:04 pm #1129785Is there anyone else who can review this site? I don’t want to go to the expense of hiring someone to reconfigure the php file if that is not the case. Why do you think this is what is causing it?
August 22, 2019 at 6:28 am #1129858Hi,
When editing pages then you are getting an 403 error on the admin-ajax.php WordPress file. Could you try reaching out to the hosting provider to see why that is please?

RikardAugust 22, 2019 at 5:09 pm #1130042I went in and looked at all the pages and the issue is only happening with the new ones I recreated on the test site. Originally, I brought all of the exiting pages over to the test site. I then recreated the primary pages (using same URL) and deleted the old ones. All other pages were left as is. Then I used the WP Migration plugin to bring everything over to the main site. Now, only those few pages have the page loading issue. The other pages open fine. This is so confusing. I’m not actually getting a 403 error. The page looks fine when you view the website. It’s just the editing.
August 23, 2019 at 3:55 pm #1130391I need help with this. Nothing that has been suggested has worked. I’ve spent hours working with this theme and I can’t afford to start over with another one. I’ve used Enfold on most of my websites and have never had this issue.
August 23, 2019 at 6:24 pm #1130458I have found the problem. It was a plugin called Wordfence. I had all plugins deactivated but even having this one installed was causing the problem. Once I deleted it, everything worked.

I’m glad this was resolved. If you need additional help, please let us know here in the forums.
