Hi !
I’m working for years now with Enfold but this has never happened before !
I’m working on a website of a medical doctor team.
The team has changed now and I need to make those changes also online.
Therefore I have to add a female doctor in third position from above. When I edit the TEAM page there are two male doctors now.
To add the female doctor I’ll simply clone the second doctor from above and overwrite his data and replace his picture.
Then I’ll press save in the team member element and everything is still looking good.
But when I’ll update the page then BOTH elements: the second male doctor and the female doctor are gone !!!.I’ve done this now many times and every time it’s the same !
So this phenomenon is reproducible !!!
I’ll restore the state: “12. Juli 2018 um 9:54:22” (https://www.kinderarzt-krefeld.de/wp-admin/revision.php?revision=781) and start editing again and everaything goes wrong the same way !Even disabling ALL plugins before editing doesn’t help !!!
Please help me, as the customer really needs this changes online asap …
Thanks

July 19, 2018 at 2:30 pm #987414Hey ideenstart,
Thank you for using Enfold.
Did you copy the content of the additional doctor from another source? Please check if there are any comparison (< or >) symbols in the doctor’s description text. Those symbols can break the content of the builder.
Is it the same when you add the “doctor” below the current team member elements?
Best regards,

I copy the content always from windows editor to be sure there are really no special hidden characters !
Now I did like you asked and placed the new female doctor at the bottom – underneath the 5 girls – saved the team element. all was fine!
After updating the page only the 1st doctor remained!!!
2nd doctor … the 5 girls and the new female doctor – ALL GONE !
Weird !
Feel free to try yourself !!!Thanks for your help!
TomJuly 20, 2018 at 2:01 pm #987831Hi,
Thanks for the update.
I would like to set the builder to debug mode but there’s no functions.php file in the child theme. Please create one and then set the builder to debug mode.
Here’s how: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode
I’ll check the page again afterwards.
Best regards,

TomJuly 24, 2018 at 12:19 pm #989133Hi,
Thanks for the update.
Some of the shortcode closing tags were missing but it’s fixed now after running the shortcode autorepair.
Missing closing tag [/av_team_member] found for an opening tag at index 4418.
Missing closing tag [/av_team_member] found for an opening tag at index 7070.
etc etcI can now duplicate the team member elements without losing the content on update.
Best regards,
