    Hi Team Author

    First off , awesome theme.

    I bought recently the theme but I am having issues with the editor.

    issue,
    on any page which is built if I try to add any new element for example color section and which goes in the bottom of the page, then i try to add a special heading and update the page, all good till here.

    now when i come back after seeing the preview and edit the same color section and special heading or any element inside the color section and then update it that new section gets deleted including the special element inside.

    issue 2
    if i drag and drop the element and save it. the other element below gets deleted.

    Please help

    Hi Can i please get a reply to this, I am struggling a lot to make any changes to my website..
    if i change any text block in the middle of the page, the other elements gets deleted.

    Hi,

    Did you select to use the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options? If that doesn’t help then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look.

    Hi Rikard

    Thanks a ton for replying. My developer used avia layout builder since start. when i try to add any element inside the color section of any page say for example home page

    and then edit any color section element in the middle of the page like change in color or any thing, the new element which is at the bottom of the page gets deleted.

    not sure if I am doing something wrong. please help as i have to use revisions 100 times before i can get anything working.

    That is the likely reason for things disappearing. Please close all markup properly:

    <strong>Bold text closed properly</strong>

    this is not only happening for the home page. its happening on all pages and I am not using any codes I am just writing in the text blocks and then clicking on save.

    Hi,

    Ok, then please point out all the places where this is happening and we’ll have a look at it. I’m pretty sure that if things are disappearing from the builder then it’s due to open markup though.

    Hi Rikard,

    its happening on all pages that are published if I try to edit those pages or do a simple drag and drop also and click on save and then update it. it disappears.

    for example have a look at our the page – about-us

    Can you please share how can i avoid this open markups as I am not a technical person and i just add special heading and texts inside and then save i dont use and all codes in it

    If you don’t add any markup yourself then it won’t be added, you or someone else must have added it.

    Hi Rikard,
    Most importantly I am using Avia Layout Builder and not using any codes, so I don’t understand how this markups are incomplete?

    I am just adding text block / special heading and then I go inside that element and add the sentence and then click save

    So how is the markup getting incomplete

    Please check this video, You will see in end that logo widget will disappear, I want to know why this is happening, Sometime widget close button will disappear.

    Can you tell me how to fix this, Im unable to do anything in my website.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that, though the markup isn’t added magically, it has to be added by a user like yourself or someone else. Maybe you have copied an element with markup already in it? The easiest way for you to not have this problem is to simply remove the markup I pointed out to you.

    I think i will check this by adding a completely new page with no prior template for any markups and let you know.

    But I wanted this to prevent from happening. Do you know what is the best way to avoid this?

    but still i lost the Our Clients section from the page?

    Just to update Rikard,

    I closed the markup on one of the page and the content inside that section below special heading got disappeared

    Please could you help me with this I am totally locked and cant make any changes.

    Hi,

    Just after removing the markup it might disappear again yes, but after that everything should work as expected. I updated your About Us page and everything works as expected on my end.

    Hi Jessica,

    Great, I’m glad that it started working again and I’m sorry for the problems. The builder in Enfold is unfortunately sensitive to open markup in the content, we are working on solutions to prevent this in the future.
