Hi there,
these days I repeatedly had some weird experience with the editor.
For demonstration purpose I am sharing two pics with you on Imgur. (See below in private section)
My issue is the editor and the view in the dashboard.
On picture No. 1 you can see the correct view; At the top you see “Edit page”, “Create new page” as well as the permalink and the possibility to change the editor to “Standard Editor”. Furthermore the options on the right hand side are completely different than on pic No. 2.
There. the the options Edit page & Create new page are missing and there is no permalink! The view on the right hand side is completely different as well.
How can I get back to the regular options like on pic No. 1. To my opinion this must be a change of the editor but I didn’t get what to do.
Can you advise pls?

AnneHey Anne,
The first editor is using the Classic Editor, and the second one is using the Block Editor. You can select which one you like under Enfold->Theme Options.

yes, that’s true. I had chosen the Block Editor at the very beginning when I started to work with Enfold.
Is it better to chose the Classic Editor?
And how can it be that the Editor changes from one page to the other?
May the reason be that I’ve overwritten the pages from my old theme so that there is a confusion?

Thanks for the update. It’s up to you which editor you want to use, they both have the same functionality but some of them are located in different places.
I’m not sure why two pages would have different editors, if you need further help with that then please please post admin WordPress login details in private and let us know where we can see the problem.

I just went through all pages, only two of them are concerned. (But sometimes the view changes while I am working, that’s why I said it’s weird).
The pages concerned are “Testimonials” and “Aktuelles“.
The login credentials are in the private content box. It is still a staging site.
The login should work for you. I tried it and it was fine.

Thanks for that, I see the Block Editor being used on both of those page. If you are not seeing that on your end, then please try using a different browser, or a private/incognito window to see if that helps.
