Editing shortcodes rather than using the UI editor

I’m really familiar with editing html/shortcodes and would like to access the enfold shortcodes directly rather than having to manually do everything through the advanced editor UI. When I start with a basic page and switch to default editor>text mode I’m able to edit the text but none of my full page are full width. They just narrow into container width in the vertical center rather than filling the whole browser window.

How can I use the default text editor but ensure that my full width modules actually stay full width?
