    This problem occurs with a page based on the enfold restaurant template (menu).

    I needed to update the menu, but editing/changing prizes let whole sections (columns with headlines and catalogues) disappear. I tried to work around and built the site from scratch (4 weeks ago), this time not using color sections as I actually don’t need them for the menu. But adding the last part (“Hot beverages”) deletes all the content below “Wine, beer etc.”. Bevor saving the changes, the preview already shows missing parts, but the backend still shows all the content. I saved the changes and then got back to the previous revision.
    For the moment the menu is online without hot beverages, but it would be helpful to be able to edit the menu whenever it is needed.
    I’ve had this problem for more then a year, but this time I can’t fix it. The revisions show that parts were deleted, hopefully this gives you a hint.

    Thanks for that, I see that you have open markup on the page in question:

    <strong>Wein, Bier</strong> und <strong>Edelbrände

    Please try closing that tag properly, you shouldn’t have any problems if all your tags are closed in the right way:

    <strong>Bold text closed properly</strong>

    Hey Rikard,

    Thanks for your help. I closed the tag, but then in the preview everything below that heading disappeared. Not sure why. All the other headings are correct. I will play around a little bit with the test-page “restaurant-sommerkarte-sicherung”, because here the correct closing of the tag didn’t delete content. Maybe I will use this page and redirect the URL.

    But anyway, if you have any idea why fixing the tag leads to this odd disappearing, please let me know.

    Hi Katrin,

    The problem is open markup, that is the only time when that happens in the Enfold Layout Builder. The elements might disappear once you correct it and save, but after that it should not happen anymore.

    I have issues with the catalog element as well. when i try to enter the seperate items in the catalog, the ‘list item description’ shows as empty (even though there is text in it), and when i go from visual to text tab, it shows the whole text for the entire page. I cannot edit anything, or add anything. Please help (tried to start a new post but was unable to find that option, sorry). i have a screenshot but there is no option to add that either at present? Updated to enfold 4.5.2 recently, the catalog element seems very buggy, the Preview is not showing any edits either (it does show on the right side when the catalog element is open though).

    Please open a new thread and include admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look at your site. You can upload screenshots to services like google drive, dropbox, imgur, snaggy, cl.ly etc and then link to them here.
