hi there,
i have a site (one of 3) on the same hosting platform (cloudways) that is not allowing me to use keyboard commands to paste content into the editor (along with other editing issues). the theme is up to date, (as is wordpress) & php 8.1. neither of the other sites have this issue. likely to be a plugin / js issue i’d imagine.
can’t even type in some of the modal’s when editing.
i’ve tried to figure out what’s going on, but have come up with no solutions yet.
i will provide login details as i suspect this is the only way you’ll be able to help.

Thank you for the inquiry.
We not unable to reproduce the issue on our own installation, so it’s likely caused by a plugin or a custom script. Have you tried disabling all plugins temporarily? Please clone the site to a staging environment, disable all plugins, and then activate them one by one to identify the culprit.

ok, fair enough. i think i may have discovered the culprit, it looks like it was a plugin update. i still need confirmation the editor is back to normal now though. it does seem to be in my testing. if you have a quick moment to check & confirm – i’d really appreciate it :)
