How do you edit the footer contents? At present the footer shows 4 columns, Interesting Links, Pages, Categories and Archive. Each column has some linkable text beneath – this is all from the Enfold basic install. Would like to be able to tweak the footer contents but can’t figure out how to do that. I found the footer layout from the Enfold Theme Options but there are only options for copyright, how many columns displayed and widget/socket settings but nowhere to edit the content that’s there. Help???
You can change the footer settings in the enfold theme option -> footer layout.
To edit the content, you have to go to the widget customization.
You’ll find it on the left side under “appearance”.
There you can place widgets inside your footer areas.
I saw that area… added text to Footer column1 but it doesn’t show up in the footer on the pages??? Still all of the unwanted text is present. How to delete/edit the footer that came with the basic setup?
Thanks…
All you need to do is to place a widget inside the footer – column1.
This way the default content gets overwritten.
You can’t delete the default content. Only overwrite it or reduce the number of columns.
Worked! Thanks….
