Hello,
I’m wondering if I can customize the result page which comes up after selecting a tag (from the build in enfold tag widget).
Right now I’m getting whole blog articles on an endless page. I’d prefer to get the results the same as on the search result page. This means a headline, a short text and a “read more” link. Thanks, Enrico

Yes, you can customize it any way you want.
For example, you can create a child theme and load the results from there. That would be easiest way to get it short out. There is no other way to get it done, if for example you want to use ALB.

Thanks for your answer.
I’m using a child theme, but is there any example how to customize the result page? What do I have to customize?
I found some more topics in the forum regarding this question, but all seems to be not finished yet.
Thanks, EnricoJanuary 31, 2018 at 8:58 pm #905808Hi,
Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)

BasilisJanuary 31, 2018 at 9:49 pm #905838Okay, I understand, even thats a pity, because the search itself does the same and the result page is quite okay.
What did you mean with your first post:
“For example, you can create a child theme and load the results from there.
That would be easiest way to get it short out. There is no other way to get it done, if for example you want to use ALB.”Load the results from a child theme? But from which file? Could you please tell me which files are creating the results page for the tags?
Thanks, Enrico
February 1, 2018 at 8:54 pm #906455Hello Basilis,
sometimes I’m wondering how good the support team knows their own documentation and the theme itself…After some hours of research I found the right key words to find this:
And this:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/display-only-excerpt-on-archive-page/
And this:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/grid-read-more-button-in-archive/
And this:
https://kriesi.at/support/search/?bbp_search=tag.phpSo the relevant file is tag.php
