Hi, I have installed Enfold and I am using the Consulting demo. I can’t for the life of me figure out how to add widgets below the social media icons and logo on the left side bar. Please advise. Thanks!
October 22, 2016 at 10:22 pm #702871Hey roger439!
Please go to Appearance -> Widgets and from there you can control the sidebars.
Let us know if we can do anything else for youRegards,
BasilisOctober 26, 2016 at 1:43 am #704080That didn’t work. Please look at solarquotecheck.com and look at the left sidebar. I’d like to put content under the social media buttons. I have tried putting a sample text Display Everywhere, then I tried Sidebar Blog, and Sidebar pages. Nothing puts anything on the left sidebar. Please advise. Thanks

Could you also provide us with login details to your WordPress dashboard so that we can have a closer look at the issue. You can place the username and password in the private data field.
Best regards,

As I have been describing, I’d like content on the left side below those social media buttons. Is this not possible with the Consulting demo in Enfold? You have my information and passwords. You have my permission to mess around my site. Please show me a sample where you put content and widgets there and let me know how you did it. Thanks so much!
edit: supplied login info again.

November 5, 2016 at 7:46 am #708585Hi,
You can use a widget for that. I have added a sample, you should see some content below the the social media icons, here are the steps:
- In Appearance > Widgets, I added a widget area and called it Header Area
- Added a text widget inside the Header Area
- Go to Enfold > General Layout > Main Menu Sidebar, set it to Header Area
Hope this helps. :)
