I have been using the Enfold theme (demo church) for several clients for years. Everything works perfectly in setting up various sites
Currently I have the following problem with the site https://lacasatorre.nl. When I click on “edit page (advanced layout builder)” it remains blank, as well as when I choose new page or blog. I was able to just build the site without any problem, the blank page has only recently appeared
I always work with safari (version 13.12) on a iMac (MacOX High Sierra).
Other sites (e.g. maastrichtvooriedereen.nl or casatammies.nl or werkhuismaastricht.nl) made with this theme work well if I choose “edit page (in safari).Searched your forum, couldn’t really find anything. I have also deactivated all plugins and cleared the safari cache. No result. Same problem in firefox, only in google chrome it works, but is very slow.
What could be the problem, hope you have a solution.
Thanks in advance for your answer.Ps, I’m sending login details.

April 20, 2023 at 8:21 pm #1405083Hey tomcusters,
I can’t see any problems on my end using Firefox or Safari (16.3). Could you try updating your Safari browser, or try on a different machine?
Best regards,
RikardApril 21, 2023 at 10:17 am #1405147Hello,
Updating safari means that I have to update the entire system. I’m afraid that some programs will no longer work properly. I also tried on another computer, same problem. The site works well on the iPad.
As I said all other sites made with the enfold template church work fine in the current safari. I was also able to set up the site in question fine in safari. And now suddenly not anymore. Has something gone wrong somewhere in the template? Is there perhaps a setting where something went wrong? What else can I do?
Regards Tom

April 22, 2023 at 11:56 am #1405224Hi Tom,
Your Safari version is 3 years old now, we can’t keep track of and test different browser versions which are that old unfortunately. Maybe you could simply use a different browser which does work instead?
Best regards,
RikardApril 23, 2023 at 3:29 pm #1405287Hello, thanks for your answer.
It is clear to me that I have an older safari (version 13.12) and that there is another browser (google) where the site works fine (just a bit slow).
But how is it possible that all other sites I use with the enfold theme church with the same safari work well? They must have the same problem, right? I’ll just name them:
http://www.maastrichtvooriedereen.nl
http://www.werkhuismaastricht.nl
http://www.kenniscentrummaastricht.nlBut I’ve found the problem now.
All sites (as mentioned) that still work well use wordpress 6.1.1 The sites that no longer work well have been (unfortunately automatically) updated to 6.2
Is there anything left to do?
Can Enfold add / adjust something in template regarding wordpress version?Eventually I will have to switch to new macOS, but not for now (yet).

April 23, 2023 at 8:02 pm #1405302Hi,
Thanks for the update. If the problem is due to the latest WordPress version, then it’s likely not theme related. Does the same thing happen if you activate one of the default WordPress themes? We haven’t had any reports of this being a problem for other users. Maybe because most users update their systems more often, or that the problem is local to your machine or network.
Best regards,
RikardApril 25, 2023 at 9:48 am #1405490Thank you for your response.
It is indeed true that it does not work with wordpress templates either. Well then we know that. Time for an update :-)

April 25, 2023 at 3:28 pm #1405536Hi,
Thanks for the update. I know that OSX updates can be a bit difficult sometimes, but I’ve only had minor problems myself on a few occasions. I would recommend that you keep a time machine backup, in case the update should break too many things on your machine.
Best regards,
RikardApril 26, 2023 at 11:21 am #1405685MacOS is now High Sierra. Which update of the MacOS do you recommend me. Thought about “Big sur” from 2020. My mac is an iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015).
I have a time machine backup.
