    Dear Support,
Happy to have discovered the ‘magic wand’ elements!
Question: can I edit the element after using the advanced layout interface rather than having to edit code? In other words, once I add the element, I see the code… but then I don’t see how to edit that code with the user-friendly UI. This would be most helpful, especially when editing something like the masonry gallery.
    Screenshot attached.
If it can be done, how do I do it?
    Thanks,
    Tim

    Hey Timothy,

Well, you can delete the code and try adding the masonry again, you get the UI when you first add it, don’t you?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Dear Victoria,
Correct. But if you are doing something like managing a Masonry Gallery, that is high maintenance, as you have to remember what you had, recreate it, then make changes. Try it. ;-)
I understand why it is the way it is… but it would be super-handy to be able to go back and forth. My two cents.
    Cheers,
    Tim

    Hi,

Yeah, that would be great. Unfortunately, you can’t edit the shortcode once it’s added in the editor. You have to use the advance layout builder for that.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
