I am trying to mirror the functionality on your Enfold demo site and have been failing miserably for hours. There is a page on your theme demo site under “Pages -> Slider -> EasySlider Transparent”. Scroll down a bit and you will see a slider with a grassy background. That is what I am trying to replicate.
On my site, I am using the full width easy slider feature and have identified a background image. I have successfully implemented the individual slides but the overall slider is vertically short. I can’t, for the life of me, get it to appear like the demo theme. I am not a web designer. I am a business user (ignore the web designer domain. It’s my friend’s). Here is a link to the page: http://alextest.rtjwebdesign.com/
Any feedback would be extremely helpful.
Thanks, Alex

Your images in the slideshow need to have transparent backgrounds. The background image position should be whatever you want so that it covers the background as needed and is aligned in that container how you want.
Cheers!

Thank you for your response. The images do have transparent backgrounds. It’s the background image that i’m struggling with. I can make that image as large or as small as i’d like but no matter how big/small I make it, the slideshow itself is vertically short. What i’d really like to know is what settings were used on the theme demo page for that slideshow with the grass and what the dimensions of the background image were. That would be extremely helpful.
Thanks, Alex
April 18, 2014 at 10:15 am #253080Hi!
Thank you for the update.
The background image size on the demo is 1030×684. Fullwidth slider options are set as follows, Slideshow Image and Video Size is set to No Scaling and Stretch image to fit the slideshow size? option is set to No, don’t stretch the image. Background option are as follows, Center center, Stretch to fit and background attachment is fixed. The height of the images use as slide is 600px. I hope that helps.
Best regards,
