    Dear support,

    I am running Enfold 4.8.8.1 and WordPress 5.8.3
    Since 6 months approx, the first image on “easyslider” object in my pages is not displayed when the page is loaded.
    I tried to disable all plugins : no change
    I changed “easyslider” Advanced settings to “Do not use lazyloading” : no change
    I changed automating scrolling with a duration of 3 sec : no scrolling, blank image
    In any case, if I use the left or right arrow to change the slide and, after that, images are displayed.

    You can see the problem at link #1:
    below “Cursus AB inter NET work” and below ” Cursus Belden” there are 2 “easyslider” in the big space between these titles and the fixed images (the orange Cursus Ab inter net work” and the blue fixed image ‘cursus Belden”

    Easyslider is used to display a full sized intro image (only one slide) which is never displayed.
    On the previous link, to avoid this problem, I used “Advanced LayerSlider” with only one slide and the image is correctly displayed.

    It was working fine in the past (at least, in march last year) but I discovered that after an upgrade (don’t know if it was WP or Enfold – as I upgrade them automatically). Was hoping this to be solved in a future release of Enfold, but new versions are coming and my bug is still there.

    Can you help solve this issue ?

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. It looks like the Produits en fin de vie menu item is generating a jQuery error on your site. Does it help if you remove or edit that menu item temporarily?

    I have removed this item in the menu and enabled all usual plugins.
    still same behavior.

    I noticed also that on Link #1 – first easyslider is not working at all (when asking to display next or previous slide) but the second is OK after the first next/prev.

    BTW : I also have a problem with “partners” (Partenaires section before the footer of page Link#1 – none are displayed)

    I discovered for “Partners” that they are not displayed if Design/Slider is set to “Slider” but OK if set to “Grid”
    the problem really seems to be with the slider javascript (and not the one use in advanced LayerSlider which should use a different code)

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. I removed the link from the Produits en fin de vie link, and all error messages disappear after that, and the sliders are working as they should. I’ve left the link out for now, so that you can check the results for yourself.

    Hi Rikard,

    Thanks for the correction.
    From which part or menu did you remove “Produits en fin de vie” ?
    because I removed it from the Appearence/menus/ “Liens mis en-avant:” menu before you and this link was not showing.
    So I really wonder from where you removed the link. if you can tell me.
    In any case, thanks a lot, it solved the problem and, every easysliders are now working fine.
    Do you think a change/correction in a later version of Enfold could prevent this strange behavior ?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. I removed it from the menu item in the screenshot in private. I don’t think there is much we can do to fix this, since the problem occurs because of the link. Maybe you could try to use a URL shortener to see if that works better?

    I understand, now. I completely forgot that this link was also on the main menu and not only in the footer one.
    I removed the item and I should keep in mind that a complex URL might disable easyslider
