Hi, I posted this question & those will more complicated questions around the same time as my post have received help, but I haven’t gotten any kind of reply.
I need the tutorial, or a screenshot, or documentation of how to create the SHOP DEMO homepage. I just want to switch out the content as it is on your demo.
Very straight forward.
Thanks!
July 4, 2015 at 12:15 pm #468384Hey Intell!
Thank you for using Enfold.
There is no tutorial or documentation specifically for the shop page demo but we can give you the shortcodes. You need to enable the debug mode in the advance layout builder: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
This is the shop demo home page shortcodes: http://pastebin.com/byteLLL0
Cheers!
IsmaelJuly 7, 2015 at 4:56 am #469355Okay – thanks for this. After you gave this info I found where you can download the Shop Demo as built! That was great.
Only thing… now I can’t change the theme color scheme. How would I do that now?
Thanks!
July 7, 2015 at 8:19 am #469440Hi!
Changing the colors of the template can be done either from the premade settings we offer through Theme Options or with some custom CSS.
Best regards,
BasilisJuly 7, 2015 at 8:50 am #469461I know that there are pre-made settings. That’s what I said no longer works since I imported the SHOP DEMO – I can no longer use the settings in the Enfold setting area to change the colors or much else to be honest…

July 7, 2015 at 2:14 pm #469662Hi!
Please make sure that wp-content/uploads folder has correct permissions ( 755 ) – http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions
Please see this links as well – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/custom-woocommerce-shop-overview/ and http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/quick-start-with-woocommerce/Regards,
YigitJuly 7, 2015 at 4:54 pm #469807Would importing the SHOP DEMO change the permission files? That seems very odd.
I deactivated WooCommerce- I don’t need it.- when I try to change the color scheme in the Enfold settings – I still cannot.
It has to do with importing SHOP DEMO because I could change the color scheme before. I also cannot use the advanced layout and I cannot upload pictures into the post or page.
When SHOP DEMO imported – it changed the color scheme & there’s no going back.
I keep asking this and no one can answer. There were instructions that in order to use WooCommerce I had to put this code or something somewhere for it to work AND you had to have WooCommerce or the SHOP DEMO wouldn’t import.
Those instructions disappeared after the import – so I cannot undo them.
2ndly – I just needed the homepage layout – so the jumping through the hoops of adding WooCommerce & adding the code to whatever was a waste of time.
If one of you could look up those instructions – then I think undoing whatever I was told to do will fix it.

Thank you for the details. Unfortunately, the login credentials above are not working. Please create a simple password.

IsmaelJuly 8, 2015 at 8:42 am #470070Thanks so much Ismael – I ended up deleting everything & starting over from scratch – it’s better now.
Have a quick question – can you do portfolios and galleries with Posts too – or only the projects?
Why would I do a project over a post?
I’m used to doing posts.
Where is a video explaining how to use the Layout feature? I can’t make any sense of how that works or where the content goes within the columns, etc.
Thanks!!
