Hi
I had a problem with the files in wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia folder which became very large (several GB). I read in the forum that more users encountered this problem. From another thread (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/clean-up-dynamic_avia-folder/) I understood that these files can be thrown away safely and will be regenerated after changing something in the theme options (e.g. a theme color).
It does recreate several files (avia-footer-scrips-#####.js, avia-merged-styles-#####.css, enfold.css, etc.) but it appears that still some essential files are missing now. My website is doesn’t respond to changes e.g. in the general styling tab. The menu in the header has strange colors, the footer area has no background colors, changes to h1 font color, etc.
Edit: When I change something in the general style tab I get this warning when loading the page: FILE_GET_CONTENTS(/VAR/WWW/VH68484/1/ROELBREULS.NL/HTTPS://FONTS.GOOGLEAPIS.COM/CSS?FAMILY=LORA:ITALIC%7CFJORD+ONE:REGULAR%7CKAMERON:REGULAR,700%7CQUESTRIAL:REGULAR&SUBSET=LATIN%2CLATIN-EXT): FAILED TO OPEN STREAM: NO SUCH FILE OR DIRECTORY IN /VAR/WWW/VH68484/1/ROELBREULS.NL/WP-CONTENT/THEMES/ENFOLD/CONFIG-TEMPLATEBUILDER/AVIA-TEMPLATE-BUILDER/PHP/ASSET-MANAGER.CLASS.PHP ON LINE 448
No clue whether this has something to do with it…
Unfortunately, the backup I made from the dynamic_avia folder was corrupted (due to my stupid mistake) so now I seem to be in real trouble.
Is there a way to restore the dynamic_avia folder? Or is there something else wrong since it does seem to recreate the files in this folder?
Your help is much appreciated!
Roel

May 31, 2020 at 7:14 pm #1218255Hey RBreuls,
The files in that folder are generated dynamically, so even if you delete the folder once you press save on the theme options the folder and the files in it will be regenerated.

Thanks for your reply. I guess that something else is going wrong then. When I delete the dynamic_avia folder, the website still looks strange and doesn’t respond to changes in the general styling. In the private content I put the correct credentials (sorry, about that, these were from my server).
Thanks for your help,
Best regards,
Roel

Thanks for that. I get the same problem on my end after I have saved something in the theme options. Please share FTP details with us in private as well so that we can have a closer look.

June 3, 2020 at 5:41 am #1218910Hi,
Thanks for that. The file in question didn’t have the correct permission on the server, I changed that now and things seem to be back to normal working status. Please review your site.

Yes, it works again. No idea why this happened but I am glad you could fix it.
Thanks a lot!
