Hi there I love the portfolio items setup in that one is able to view previous / next via fixed UI elements left + right and I’d like to have a seperate category for a chronology / CV, covering major periods in my working career which I feel the current setup would handle nicely. Can I duplicate the portfolio items and rename and simply start populating?

Yes in theory this would be possible but unfortunately it requires some custom work and this customization is beyond the scope of our support forum. Depending on your skills you need to hire a php developer.
