    Hi there,

I seem to have some duplicate pages on my site:
    e.g
    http://www.tiablissmakeup.co.uk/
    http://www.tiablissmakeup.co.uk/?s=

I have no idea why as I only created one page.
I need someone to crawl my site and see if this has happened to any other pages, if so, is someone able to remove the ‘?s=’ duplicates from my site and from Googles Index.
Also, how can I prevent this happening again?
    Thank you,

    Hi Victoria,
Thank you for this, but I am in no way advanced enough to do this to my site.

Can someone please help me rectify this?
    Many thanks

    Hi,

If you navigate to the root folder of your WordPress installation, you find a file called robots.txt, open that and add this to it:

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /?s=

If there is no robots.txt in there then you can create and upload one via FTP.

    Best regards,

    Hi Rikard,
Sorry, what is the root folder of wordpress?

    Hi,

Maybe it would be easier if you just posted FTP login details in private so that we can do it for you? If you don’t know what I’m talking about then you can get them from your hosting provider.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
