I really like the Masonry Layout for my blog posts, but it shows duplicate posts when you click on Load More. What gives?

Thanks!

April 12, 2014 at 3:24 am #250415Hi tylerjmorrison!
Thank you for using the support forum!
Some users are having the same issue and it as it turns out, it is cause by a plugin. Unfortunately, they didn’t mention which plugins are causing the issue. Please try to deactivate the plugins then check the load more button again. Another user reported that the Post Types Order plugin is causing the issue, if you have that plugin installed, please deactivate it. I hope that helps.

IsmaelApril 12, 2014 at 3:31 am #250417Hmm, I have tried deactivating all plugins as well as clearing my cache. I also tried on different computers and browsers, but still cannot figure it out!!
April 13, 2014 at 9:25 am #250700Hey!
I’m sorry if I upset you with my response. I just can’t reproduce the issue no my end and I don’t find any clue on the support forum when I search over for the same topic. I’m really not sure what is the causing the issue but I’ll ask Dude to check this out.
Thank you for understanding.
Cheers!

Please create us an admin account and post the login credentials as private reply. If I can find the problem I’ll fix it; otherwise I’ll ask Kriesi to look into it.
Cheers!

I reported the issue to Kriesi. Please do not remove the account because Kriesi will probably need it to debug the code. I couldn’t reproduce the issue on my test servers and I think it might be a problem with the server or wordpress configuration.
Best regards,
PeterApril 17, 2014 at 11:58 am #252618Hey Tyler!
Since I cant reproduce the issue on my local installation: Would you mind posting me your FTP credentials as well so i can do a few quick trial and error tests? If I happen to find the bug this way I will fix your installation and also include the bugfix with the next theme release.
Thanks for your help! :)

KriesiApril 21, 2014 at 8:02 pm #253992Hi, I’m having the same issue. I do not have Post Types Order plugin installed.
After you hit the Load More, the last post on the page is duplicated. It’s happening here: http://haasachieves14.com/our-defining-principles/question-the-status-quo/
But curiously, it’s NOT happening here: http://haasachieves14.com/our-defining-principles/students-always-2/April 23, 2014 at 11:59 am #254852Hey!
Please create us a wordpress admin account and a ftp account and post the login credentials as private reply – I’ll forward them to Kriesi.
Cheers!

I’m experiencing similar issues. I too do NOT have that plugin installed but see Portfolio items duplicated in Masonry Grids where that particular category is NOT selected for display. Very odd and confusing. Like they just appear for no reason!
Am watching this post with interest.
Thanks for the awesome theme too. Still the best.Cheers

Thanks anyway. We love the theme.April 28, 2014 at 8:09 am #256915Hey!
Ok, we’re still investigating the issue and we’ll fix it asap if we find the cause of the problem.

April 30, 2014 at 11:41 am #258200Hi!
I think I found the issue. For whatever reason the ajax query has problems with draft entries and is calculating a wrong offset where to start to fetch new entries. Next update (2.7.1) will fix the issue :)
Regards,
KriesiPS: Thanks for your help and access to the server. Dont think I would have found that otherwise ;D
