Hi There,
Some of my single Blog posts are suddenly showing the feature image twice. Can you please advise a fix on this one.
Post Styling: Elegant
Single Post Style: Single Post with Big Preview ImageOnly repeats on some of the blog posts but not all. Example shown below.
Many thanks,
kesdegJuly 19, 2018 at 11:17 am #987338On further investigation, it seems it might the the WP Rich Snippets plugin that is causing these issues as when I deactivate it, the problem resolves. Interestingly though, it only appears on some of the blog posts, not all.
Appreciate your time looking into this one as I don’t want to not use WP Rich Snippets.
Cheers,
kesdeg

I do not see the images duplicated on those pages. Did you disable the plugin?
Best regards,
VictoriaJuly 21, 2018 at 5:53 pm #988179Hi Victoria,
Yes, I’ve disabled the plugin as I didn’t want duplicate posts showing on my live site. WP Rich Snippets is a paid plugin that I really with to use. I’d appreciate if you could take a look at to why it is causing a duplicate feature image when activated using the Enfold theme. Thanks,

We cannot really investigate the issue when it is not present. Do you have a test website where we can see the issue?

VictoriaJuly 23, 2018 at 11:27 am #988657Hi Victoria,
Please see the link below on our staging site. I’ve activated the WP Rich Snippets plugin and you can see the issue on this example of the post Strider 14X Sport Balance Bike.

VictoriaJuly 26, 2018 at 11:48 am #990203Hi Victoria,
Please try again. For some reason, the WP Rich Snippets Plugin was deactivated. I’ve activated it again now and the duplicate image is back.
Thanks,
kesdegJuly 29, 2018 at 2:24 pm #991048Hi kesdeg,
I just checked the page and still see only one image with a kid on the bike. Did you deactivate the plugin again?
Best regards,
VictoriaJuly 29, 2018 at 2:31 pm #991051One of your other moderators is working on another issue with the CSS compression so it must keep getting deactivated in that process. I have just activated it again. You have the login to the wordpress site so please re-activate it again if it is not when you look at this issue.
Thank you.
kesdegJuly 30, 2018 at 7:29 am #991423Hi,
Thanks for the update.
The image is generated by a plugin and it’s inside a container called “wprs_container”. You can use this css to hide it.
.wprs_container { display: none !important; }
