I have a fresh install of WordPress 4.0 on a fresh Linux machine.
I installed Enfold 2.9.1 onto the box and imported dummy data. It presented well but in the editor it presented the spinning wait cursor above the component box(es).
I updated to Enfold 2.9.2 using FTP (I am behind a router that doesn’t allow pass-through and the box has a private 10.0.0.xxx address).
I can go to the editor and see the edit boxes, but, on presentation/rendering the menu text is evenly spaced across the screen (as if incremented and displayed in tabular form).
I deleted Enfold & WordPress and removed the database.
Created a new database.
Transferred WordPress over and instanced it.
Transferred Enfold (ver 2.9.2) over.
Again, same issue: Drop-down menu text spaced across screen as if in an invisible table.
As a further test I entered some text in a field, published, and previewed. Again, drop-down text is incorrectly rendered.Suggestions? Thanks in advance…

September 27, 2014 at 5:55 am #325869Hi!
That’s a known bug that will be fixed in the next update. In the meantime you’d need to go to Appearance > Menus, and create a new menu. Apologies for the inconveniences.
Cheers!

September 27, 2014 at 6:23 am #325880Hey!
Hmm, that’s unexpected, can you replicate that with the default WordPress theme activated?

September 27, 2014 at 7:39 pm #325997Hi,
Unfortunately we’d need to see the Dashboard live in order to debug this issue. Please let us know when you publish the site somewhere we can access it.
Best regards,
JosueSeptember 27, 2014 at 7:51 pm #3260041. When would be the best time?
2. Do you merely want HTTP access?
3. Are you looking to do a shared desktop [www.join.me], or do you want full root?
4. If you want to do a shared desktop, would access to a machine that can link via the admin console to the box in question work?I’m asking because I’m working from a home office & can only do one redirect from outside the cable modem + the box it is on is a small Intel NUC.

September 29, 2014 at 6:17 am #326318Hi!
Thank you for the info.
I’m sorry but we can only inspect the site once it’s live. Do you have any other plugins installed? What is the current version of PHP?
Best regards,

Try adding this to your wp-config.php file:
define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false );

JosueSeptember 29, 2014 at 8:51 pm #326801Thanks, that solved the drag-and-drop problem!
