A problem that I cannot replicate, but at least TWO users are not seeing a drop down menu that is there and they should be able to see.
There are two main menus.
Unprotected is Main Menu with membership (Main Menu)
For logged in members, a second menu bar is shown called – Member Menu (Member Menu for logged in users)
Then any pages to which they’re tagged (wishlist member), they should be able to see the drop down menu. However, I’ve a couple of users not seeing the drop down, despite having access to that. They previously DID have drop down, something has changed.

2nd issue.
I want to REMOVE the footer that appears on pages when logged out. It is an old opt in that I’d like to remove.
Is there a link to training that I can follow?
You cannot see the opt in when you are logged in, so if you want to see the Opt In Box, you need to be logged out.
There is one on the homepage – https://kinesiologyzone.com/
and one here: https://kinesiologyzone.com/about/
—-3rd issue
Some videos (there are 100s on the site when logged in) will play on mobile but some don’t. Yet they are all set up the same way.
They are hosted on AmazonS3, I use the enfold video placeholder. Same way for all the videos. Some WILL play, but most don’t.
Any explanation? Any fix?

4th issue

SiobhanMay 21, 2021 at 3:49 pm #1301658Hey Siobhan,
Thanks for contacting us!
1&3- You are currently using an older version of Enfold which is not compatible with your WP version. Could you please firstly update Enfold to the latest version 4.8.2? I see that you have modified helper-main-menu.php file on your child theme to display different menus for logged in and logged out users. If that is the only modification you made on the file, please delete it and use this function instead – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/menu/#display-a-different-menu-for-logged-inlogged-out-users.
2- Those sections were hardcoded in footer.php file on your child theme. I went to Appearance > Editor and removed it from Footer.php file. If that was the only modification you made on footer.php file, please delete footer.php file from your child theme as well.
4- I went to Appearance > Widgets, edited your Text widget inside 2nd footer column and updated the date.
Best regards,
YigitMay 24, 2021 at 4:09 pm #1302044Thanks Yigit for the help and making a few of the changes.
Question – I went looking to see how to get the latest version, but I cannot locate it. – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/ –
Also, when I go into my site, and check core-updates, it says everything is up to date?
On further searching, it appears I need an Envato private token? I’m not sure what or where I might find this? Any suggestions? You say, “I see that you have modified helper-main-menu.php file on your child theme to display different menus for logged in and logged out users. If that is the only modification you made on the file” – I don’t know. I had a web developer create the website. He is no longer accessible.
2- Those sections were hardcoded in footer.php file on your child theme. I went to Appearance > Editor and removed it from Footer.php file. If that was the only modification you made on footer.php file, please delete footer.php file from your child theme as well. Again, developer did this. Is it OK to just leave as is?
May 26, 2021 at 5:08 am #1302343Hi,
Thanks for the update. Please refer to this on how to generate an Envato token for your theme: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Files in your child theme: if everything is working as it should, then I guess you can leave them where they are. If they are not being used for anything though, then it might be better to simply delete them.
Best regards,
RikardMay 31, 2021 at 5:00 pm #1303231Thanks Rikard or Yigit
I’ve generated an Envato token, and all that seems to connect ok.
I’ve tried in all the places I can look to update. But it says “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.7.6.4)” – but you say 4.8.2 is the latest.
I’ve downloaded the Envato Market plugin too, and put the token in there too, and it’s all connected ok but it’s still showing there’s no update.
The Enfold theme isn’t activated, only the Enfold Child theme.Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks

June 2, 2021 at 6:41 am #1303504Hi Siobhan,
Are you sure the account you are using has purchased the Enfold license? I’m asking since it’s not showing up in the Envato Market plugin. If you login to Themeforest, can you then download Enfold from your account? If not, then your license must have been purchased using a different account, and that would be the reason why it’s not updating or showing up in the Envato Market plugin.
Best regards,
RikardJune 8, 2021 at 1:45 pm #1304636Thanks Rikard
That’ll be it. A web designer purchased the account. I’ve no idea if I ever got the details of that.
I guess I just need to re-purchase the theme.
SiobhanJune 8, 2021 at 1:50 pm #1304639So if I purchase the Enfold Theme again, do I have to do anything specific with the child version. The Enfold theme isn’t activated on my website, just the child one.
June 10, 2021 at 5:11 am #1304981Hi Siobhan,
Thanks for the update. Please try following this in order to register your new license: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/. You shouldn’t have to do anything more than that.
Best regards,
RikardJune 10, 2021 at 11:49 am #1305050Hi Rikard
Thanks, yes I purchased the theme, and it automatically connected with my account, and so “knew” there was an update.
So I’ve updated it, and waiting to hear back from the two members who had the issue (dorp down menu not showing), since I couldn’t replicate the issue they were having.
Fingers crossed.
Thanks
