I’d like to include a “Download” button inside a slide… I would assume I could do this via placing an HTML layer inside a slide with the nessecary shortcode and the location of the file but for the life of me I can’t seem to figure out how to do this….
Is this possible?
Hey redfirestudio!
Yes you would just create a new layer and then click on the “HTML / Video / Audio” tab and insert our button shortcode. As for the download it would be best to create a zip file and then point the button to it.

What I can’t find is the shortcode for the button…. Maybe I’m an idiot but I can’t find the shortcodes… (I saw them before the latest update but not since)
Hi!
You can enable debugging mode to see shortcodes you have created in pages using Advanced Layout Builder – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
You can switch to Default Editor and click on Magic Wand to see full list of shortcodes http://i.imgur.com/n4KXkdm.jpg
then you can create any of them and copy/paste shortcode into any other content element or into text widget.

Ok, got the shortcode… however now when placing the shortcode into the layer I simply get the text of the shortcode displaying in the slide….
– Granted I have not uploaded the file that I intend for it to download so it’s “incomplete” shortcode but it should still display the button correct?
Hey!
Are you sure you added it to the “HTML / Video / Audio” tab? Send us a WordPress login and set your reply as private and we’ll take a look.
