Hey guys,
I’m not sure how I can correctly explain this.
I don’t want the content on my pages to keep expanding to as big as the browser width is. After a certain point, I want it locked. Like this website:
Can you help?
Thanks!April 12, 2017 at 1:26 pm #776626Hey!
I am not sure if i understood you clearly, however please try and insert pixel value for container width in Enfold theme options > General Layout > Dimensions.
If that does not help, please post a screenshot and show the changes you would like to make so we can make sure that we are on the same page. You can upload your screenshots on imgur.com or Dropbox public folder and post the links hereBest regards,
YigitApril 12, 2017 at 4:14 pm #776771Hey Yigit,
Understood! Screenshot Here: https://ibb.co/dsrH5k
On the project pages, like this one: http://www.ccyran.com/projects/rga-stories/
I want the content width to be a bit wider. I like the margins when the website is around 950px wide. It’s when the browser width exceeds that number, the margins appear to double on each side.Let me know if that makes sense. Thanks!
April 13, 2017 at 12:47 pm #777220Hi,
Please try adding this code to the Quick CSS section under Enfold > General Styling or to your child themes style.css file:
@media only screen and (max-width: 989px) and (min-width: 768px) { .responsive body.boxed#top, .responsive.html_boxed.html_header_sticky #top #header, .responsive.html_boxed.html_header_transparency #top #header { max-width: 90% !important; }}
Best regards,
YigitApril 13, 2017 at 11:43 pm #777580Hey yigit,
I didn’t notice any changes :(
Also, to be more clear, I want the new margins/header to align with how it appears on the homepage. I don’t want any jumps.Here’s some screenshots to be clear!

ChrisApril 14, 2017 at 6:50 am #777662Hi,
You can add this custom CSS code:
#top { max-width: 100% !important; }
With this code, will have the default content margin, so, to remove it and have the same result as the homepage, you`ll need to add the content inside a color section, for example.
Best regards,
John TorvikApril 17, 2017 at 6:48 pm #778861Hey John,
Understood. I can’t place any of my content inside a color section though. Enfold doesn’t let you place grid row elements inside a color section.
Is there another solution for this?
Best,
ChrisApril 19, 2017 at 5:55 am #779774Hi,
If you’re using the grid row element, set a maximum width on larger screens.
@media only screen and (min-width: 1600px) { .av-layout-grid-container { max-width: 1320px; } }
NOTE: The images in the page are quite too big.

You can use images half that size.

IsmaelApril 19, 2017 at 6:08 am #779776Hey Ismael,
Understood about the images. I’ll make it half the size.
I tried this CSS and it didn’t work. Do you think you could take a look into my account? I’ve tried a bunch of CSS options but to no avail :(
Just to repeat my issue:
I want the header (tabs logo/ social icons, etc) to be the same on every page, as its shown on the homepage:
ccyran.comIf you click on a project thumbnail, you’ll see the header shrinking in.
http://www.ccyran.com/projects/rga-stories/I want to fix this so it’s the same as the homepage. And in the process, making all the content below the header aligned with the header width.
Like this for example: http://www.perkybros.com/portfolio/forgotten-boardwalk-brewing/
Please help!
April 20, 2017 at 5:24 am #780284Hi!
The css code is working when I checked the site. Please make sure that you’re not looking on a cached version of the site.
