Hi,
I write some styles in \wp-content\themes\enfold\css\custom.css, so I load the styles in a page and nothing happens. If I load the custom.css in a html page, out the wp, then it works. In the wp enviroment, the custom.css don’t load. the only way to add some styles is by the additional css, in the personalitzaion theme.
Please, what can I do?
Thanks in advance and have a good health!
JoanNovember 30, 2020 at 12:27 pm #1263927Hi Joan,
The reason it’s not loaded is probably because custom.css is not enqueued, please check WordPress’ documentation for it: https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/advanced-topics/child-themes/#3-enqueue-stylesheet
Hope it helps :)Best regards,

JoanNovember 30, 2020 at 2:27 pm #1263976Hi Joan,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

JoanDecember 2, 2020 at 6:21 pm #1264550Hi Joan,
Thanks, it seems to be loading properly when CSS file merging and compression is disabled in Enfold > Performance.
If it is enabled, since it’s merged with other CSS files it does not seem to show up but the code is actually merged.Best regards,
