Hi
Testing WordPress 5.2 new editor update on staging server.
When I edit with the classic editor the ” Don’t display image on single post” for the features image is visible.
When I edit with the new editor this option is not available.
Where has it gone? Can you help find where I can access this option.Links and access to site staging server is in the private content area.
Thanks

LyseFebruary 22, 2019 at 4:28 pm #1070381Hi,
The checkbox has moved with 4.5.4 to a select box in “Layout” metabox below “Header visibility and transparency” selectbox.
Best regards,
GünterFebruary 23, 2019 at 2:35 pm #1070666@Gunter – not sure which bright spark thought this was a good idea but it’s not. It’s a daft decision.
The “Don’t display image on single post” checkbox was/is clearly associated with a Featured Image so it should be in that select box and not with some generic page-wide Layout selections. Please ask the development team to undo this change and restore it as it was.
February 28, 2019 at 11:29 am #1072604Hi,
The reason we had to move the checkbox is a technical one.
With WP 5.0 the feature image box is no longer a metabox but handled with react js.
Enfold does not use this technology at the moment and cannot hook into this. And adding all the necessary overhead for just a single checkbox does not make sense and would cause more problems breaking other things. The checkbox is related to featured image is right, but it is also layout related – so we decided to move it to this classic theme related metabox.
Best regards,
Günter -
