    Hi all,

Need a little help. I am completely baffled at this point.

    Goal: Migrate site1.com to site2.com
site1.com setup: Enfold theme with Child Theme activated

    Process:
    – I have exported the database and updated references of site1.com to site2.com
    – Import updated database to new host
    – Made appropriate database name, username, and password updates to config file
    – Upload all files from site1.com directory via FTP to site2.com

    Problem 1:
    – When I load the site2.com it doesn’t have the child theme settings, so I export them from site1.com and import them to site2.com via the Enfold Child Theme import/export feature. All settings seem to be mirrored correctly in the backend but when I view site2.com the fonts/colors are not the same as they were on site1.com

    Problem 2:
    – When I complete the transfer, the widgets (footer) items do not transfer.

I have migrated around 50+ wordpress installations but this is the first time using Enfold and more specifically the Child Theme. Any suggestions?

Edit: disregard problem 2. I discovered this is not an Enfold specific issue.

    Thank you in advance

    Hi,

Your child theme settings; after importing them they sometimes don’t reflect on the front end, toggling a theme setting and saving again usually helps though, could you try that out? If you need any further help then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Toggling a setting and then setting it back fixed the issue. Thank you very much.
