    Is the child theme already automatically activated? Or do I have to download it?

    You can get one from the full download that you download on ThemeForest (the one that comes with the PSD folder) or from here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/

    Yep, that should do it. I’ve found that I sometimes need to tweak settings after importing from the parent so keep a second window open with the previous general styling tab open (since the page doesn’t auto refresh when you switch themes).

    Edit: since you are switching themes you still need to change your menu, and set any theme specific WordPress options again.
