    Hi,
    This might be a trivial question. However, we don’t know how to solve it.
    We bought the Enfold theme in… 2017 (I guess). For various reasons the site we started on then has not been completed. Before the summer vacation this year, our IT guys decided to move the site to a local server during the construction. When I tried to work on it again after the summer, it seemed like the theme wasn’t working any more. Now it says “Classic” in the editor. Have we missed to do something?

    Hi,
    Thank you for your patience, it sounds like the theme may have not ever been updated and if it is a version from 2017 on a WordPress version 5+ it probably won’t work correctly, but this is a guess with a lot of “IFs”, basically the theme is not domain or host dependent, so you could move it from domain to domain, server to server, with no issues.
    Enfold is at version 4.8.6.2 now, if yours is not up to date try downloading the latest one from your Theme Forest account, and delete the one on your server and then upload the new one via FTP, please don’t try overwriting the theme via FTP as it will leave old files behind and cause errors.

    That sounds like a correct assumption. As far as I know the theme has not been updated. We will do that.
