    Hi there

    We have purchased an Enfold theme and are currently developing our new website. The dev site is in a folder on the production website. e.g. dev.myawesomedomain.com It looks like we need to upgrade our PHP version from 7.1 but I am worried this will kill the production website.

    My preferred approach would be to get another Cpanel account for the development site. I’m not planning to get a domain for the dev site – so the URL is probably going to be a random website hosting company URL like 6ab56565.websitehostingco.com

    Will I need to get another license or can I simply re-register the Enfold theme on the 6ab56565.websitehostingco.com domain and then when we are ready to switch over re-register the Enfold theme on the myawesomedomain.com

    Hey SC44,

    You don’t need to get an additional license if it’s only going to be used on a development site. You only need to register the theme for the actual domain where it’s going to live on once you are done with the site.
