displaying un-cropped images at true aspect ratio in an Enfold slideshow

We need to show un-cropped images, at their true aspect ratio within a slideshow of fixed height & width (but also mobile responsive). We do not want to use a light box. This will not be a full-screen slider, it will be used within a column element. We’d like to use an Enfold’s slideshow rather than resort to a plugin, but I’m not sure which slideshow to choose and what settings to apply.

Note that the horizontal and vertical slides retain their true aspect ratio, resizing to fit within a fixed-size slideshow.

If this is not possible with Enfold, and we need to use a plugin, does Revolution Slider work with Enfold? If not, can you recommend another slider plugin that does?
