I’d like to add text “MENU” near the burger icon. I found this: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/menu/#display-the-word-menu-next-to-hamburger-menu-icon

Yes, that code works, but it applies to the 4.0 and above, you seem to be running an earlier version of Enfold.
You might want to update your theme.
