    Hello,

we have a problem with controlling tab sections through deeplinks. While using deeplinks to open tabs in several sections on a longscroll-page, the displayed section of the page should remain in place while the tab expands and closes.
Although it works with a huge number of our tabs, the visible part of the page scrolls up for some of the tabs.
Do you have a solution idea for this?

    Regards
    Stephan

    Hey togetherconcept,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

We can’t reproduce the issue on our end. Would you mind providing a screenshot or a short clip of the issue? You can use imgur, savvyify or dropbox for the screenshot. Thanks.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

We checked the site on Chrome but we are not able to reproduce the same issue shown in your screencast. The document stays in place whenever we click the links. Please check the short clip below.

Did you check the content for any duplicated anchors?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

i couldn’t find any duplicate anchors.

The view jumping actually occurs specifically in Firefox.
Safari, Chrome and Microsoft Edge do not cause any problems.

However, the nesting depth is quite complex.
We have on the longscroll side:
    – Intermediate menu 1 (deep links).
    – links with anchor points (deep links)
    – several tabs with deeplinks for opening and closing
    – links with anchor points (deep links)
    – several tabs with deep links for opening and closing
-> only in this last area and only in Firefox the deeplinks are skipped (see link below)

Is there perhaps a specific Firefox solution?

    best regards
    Stephan

    Hi,
Thanks for your video, in Firefox on Windows I see this happening for the items:
LEDA – Long-Term Experimental Dry Storage Analysis
    DCS-Monitor II
    Forschungsverbund Myonenradiografie

which are the last three on the page.
But this doesn’t occur in Chrome or Edge, I don’t see any reason why this would be occurring.
I asked the rest of the team if they have any ideas, Thank you for your patience.

    Best regards,
    Mike
